The club have ambitious plans for development and this section of the website outlines our scheme, the timeframe for completion and how you can help in raising funds to meet the costs.

Description of Development

Indoor Sports Arena 50m x 25m indoor hall with 3rd generation Astroturf surface. External wall of building utilised to provide 60m x 8m ball wall.

Changing/Viewing Provision Provision of changing, viewing, ancillary and fitness conditioning accommodation to compliment sports arena.

External Training Area 60m x 50m external training area with 3rd generation Astroturf surface, floodlighting and perimeter fencing.

Floodlighting of 2nd pitch New floodlighting scheme to games playing standard on 2nd pitch, replacing existing lighting.

Progress to Date

• Site secured and paid for.
• Site cleared to reduced levels June 08.
• Confirmation of grant assistance from Croke Park.
• New planning application lodged March 2009.

Planned Programme

• Appointment of design consultants Spring 2009.
• Receipt of planning approval prior to finalising design.
• Development, consultation and approval of detailed design by mid summer 2009.
• Appointment of contractor/s by September 2009.
• Start on site October 2009.
• Completion of main building by spring 2010.

Funding the project

To date the club has been very fortunate and successful with our fundraising efforts.

Events; We have a number of events planned for this year and these will be advertised in due course.

Monthly Draw; This has proved a valuable source of income over the past few years where for £5 per month you can be entered into a members draw and receive first prize of £1000.00. To purchase a ticket please contact any member of the committee.

Club Dunloy; Now in its third year this scheme has established itself as the foundation for our development works. The scheme allows patrons to subscribe by monthly direct debit a sum of their choosing to aid and assist the club with their plans. To read more and subscribe click on the link provided.

Interest Free Loans; This new scheme is currently being developed and finalised to allow members and patrons to provide the club with short term interest free loans to assist in the construction costs of the project. The details will be released when finalised.
